It's Episode 4 of our Chef Series and we're back in South East London with Melissa Thompson!
I set Melissa a challenge... could she cook up a veggie feast for us, using recipes from her new cookbook Fired Up, that left us both feeling fully satiated and like meat wasn't really missing?
Why the challenge? I've spent a lot of time honing how I cook proteins - searing the perfect steak, nailing juicy chicken, the list goes on - but I always feel like I'm short of quality side dishes. And I don't know if it's controversial, but I think sometimes the sides can be the star of a BBQ?
So, watch along and see whether Melissa delivered...

The best way to support writers like Melissa is usually to buy their books on Amazon, where getting into the Amazon top sellers list means more promotion for their books.

The Chef Series is rolling on, but next up we deviate slightly and visit our mate Rich at Building Stuff Since Birth, who fabricates lots of beautiful furniture but has started making BBQs! Hey, here's a thought... who's up for a Maker Series, where I tour the UK visiting the makers behind the UK's best fire cooking tools?
